Tennis Teaching Professional
Tennis Teaching Professional
Now I am working as an independent teaching pro using “The 3
Components for Excellent Hitting” to make learning tennis a simple to understand process.
I worked in Central Texas next, specifically Temple, Texas I was an assistant pro again heping to grow tennis in the Temple, Belton, Fort Hood area.
I worked in Garland TX for several years after
leaving the very short summer temps of Dayton, OH.
While there I became Junior Tennis Director and
grew a program that serviced 60+ children.
1997 - 1998
I was given my second formal job as a tennis teacher by Montgomery County Parks and Recreation. I learned to allow teachers under me to do their jobs.
At first I was a little too hands on, but discovered
that I was working with good people.
I was born in a small east Texas town in 1953. I had no idea I would grow to love teaching tennis as much as I do. I began loving to teach when working in Dallas in the mid 1970s teaching for the YWCA. I had to cart my tennis balls around on a 10 speed bike with baskets on each side.
I played tennis in various ametuer tournaments around the country, mostly in the east and eastern midwest of the USA.
I began teaching again in 1996 in Dayton OH to assist with a NJTL program. That is when I discovered that I can really help people comfortable learn this game.
In different parts of this expression of me there will be explanations of my main philosophy in teaching tennis. You have ways to contact me and I hope you use them with any questions.
